Description

The Dorman 936-857 is a rear driveshaft assembly designed for direct replacement. It arrives fully assembled, dynamically pre-balanced, and ready for installation. Constructed in the USA from 100% new drawn over mandrel (DOM) seamless steel tubing (not remanufactured), it features new tubing, yokes, CV joints, and U-joints. DOM steel offers superior concentricity, uniform wall thickness, increased torsional strength, and improved dent resistance compared to standard welded steel shafts. The assembly is shipped in protective foam-in-place packaging.
