The USA Standard Gear ZDS100725 rear driveshaft is engineered as a direct replacement for select Ford Escape models. Built new from high-grade steel, its components are upgraded from OEM specifications to address common failure points, offering enhanced durability and performance. This driveshaft is computer-balanced for a smooth, vibration-free driving experience. The unit is delivered fully assembled and lubricated with high-temperature grease on slip yokes and universal joints, ensuring a simple, out-of-the-box installation. It features a nominal length of 73.7 inches, with a compressed length of 73 inches. The ends are configured with a 4-bolt flange on one end and a 6-bolt CV head on the other. CV joints and universal joints are included. Specifically, this driveshaft is designed for the 2008-2012 Ford Escape models with 3.0L, 2.3L, or 2.5L engines, automatic transmissions, and 4WD/AWD configurations. It is explicitly stated that this driveshaft is not for hybrid models.
