The USA Standard Gear ZDS9463 rear driveshaft offers a new, built-from-the-ground-up replacement for your Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, or Mercury Mariner. Unlike remanufactured units, this driveshaft is constructed with high-grade steel and includes new slip yokes and maintenance-free universal joints, ensuring durability and decades of reliable use. It features a tube length of 22-1/4 inches (weld to weld) and a 1310 universal joint at the differential. For a smooth and vibration-free experience, all units are dynamically balanced at over 3,000 RPM. As part of USA Standard's “Perfect Fit” program, the ZDS9463 arrives fully assembled and ready for installation, making it a simple out-of-the-box replacement. The slip yokes and u-joints are lubricated with high-temperature grease for longevity. This rear driveshaft is specifically designed for the following applications: 2001-2007 Ford Escape AWD (excluding Hybrid), 2001-2006 Mazda Tribute, and 2005-2007 Mercury Mariner. It is the front section of a 2-piece shaft for the Ford Escape.
