The BDS Suspension Rear Driveshaft Spacer is specifically engineered to address driveshaft engagement issues that arise with significant suspension lifts on the Ford F150. When lifting your F150 by 6 inches or more, it becomes crucial to extend the rear driveshaft to maintain proper spline engagement during full suspension droop. This spacer offers a cost-effective solution compared to the expense of fabricating a custom-length driveshaft. Constructed from high-strength T6061 billet aluminum, the spacer is CNC machined to exacting standards, ensuring a precision fit between the driveshaft and the rear axle. This mounting position facilitates the necessary driveshaft spline engagement. The kit includes high-strength hardware and thread locker for a secure installation. The estimated installation time for this component is 1-2 hours. This driveshaft spacer is compatible with a wide range of Ford F150 models from 1997 to 2019, specifically for 4WD configurations.
