Description

The Summit Racing SUM-BK1627-DS is a rear drum-to-disc brake conversion kit engineered to upgrade your vehicle's braking system. This kit is designed for Ford 9-inch rear axles and accommodates both 5 x 4.5 inch and 5 x 4.75 inch wheel bolt patterns, making it versatile for various applications. Constructed with cast iron rear calipers in a natural finish, this kit includes brake pads and provides a parking brake provision for a complete solution. It is designed to fit axles with Big Flange (3.500 in. x 2.375 in.) and Big New Style (3.562 in. x 2.000 in.) housing ends. The rotor diameter is 11.25 inches. It is important to note that this kit will not fit truck axles or models with staggered shocks. The conversion kit utilizes 1979 Eldorado calipers, and replacements are available.
