Rear Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit

The SSBC-USA A126-48 is a rear drum to disc brake conversion kit engineered to significantly enhance your vehicle's braking capabilities. This kit replaces your existing drum brakes with a high-performance disc system, featuring Force 10 Tri-Power 3-piston aluminum calipers. These calipers incorporate a functional parking brake, offering a convenient all-in-one solution. The braking power is further boosted by the included 12-inch diameter, 1.250-inch thick rotors. These rotors are designed with uni-directional venting to improve airflow, helping to dissipate heat and prevent brake fade during demanding use. The standard finish on the rotors is slotted and plated, which aids in expelling gases and heat generated during braking, while also cleaning the pads and offering protection against corrosion. Key specifications include a minimum wheel size requirement of 16 inches, with the calipers featuring two 30mm pistons and one 38mm piston. The rotors have a 6 x 5.5-inch bolt pattern. All necessary hardware, including braided stainless steel flex lines and high-performance brake pads, is included to facilitate installation. It is important to note that this kit must be used in conjunction with a front brake kit that has an equal or larger number of pistons. Additionally, this kit will not fit corporate 14-bolt rear end housings and is designed for applications with factory 11-inch rear drum brakes.
