The TA Performance TA_1807A is a rear end girdle designed to add support to bearing caps under severe loads and acceleration, thereby strengthening the rear end. It is constructed from 356 aircraft-grade aluminum, heat-treated to T6 specifications, and stress-relieved for maximum durability. This girdle also increases fluid capacity by approximately 1/2 pint, which helps to lower operating temperatures by an average of 15 degrees.

Constructed from robust 356 aircraft-grade aluminum that is heat-treated to T6 specifications and stress-relieved, this girdle is built to withstand severe loads and acceleration. Designed to add crucial support to the bearing caps, the TA_1807A substantially strengthens the rear end, reducing or eliminating bearing cap fatigue and failure. It also enhances fluid capacity by approximately 1/2 pint, contributing to an average decrease of 15 degrees in operating temperature. This cover features integrated fill and drain ports for convenient maintenance and includes 2 load bolts with swivel feet to effectively support the bearing caps. Each TA Performance girdle is machined in-house using a 3-step CNC process to ensure accuracy and quality, followed by hand deburring, inspection, and assembly for a premium fit and finish. The product arrives new in the box, complete with the girdle, bolts, gasket, and instructions. This specific model, the TA_1807A, is designed as a low-profile cover for GM 8.2", 8.5", and 8.6" 10-bolt rear ends, fitting all Chevrolet and GM corporate produced cars and light trucks.
