The 27WON Performance Rear Engine Mount is engineered to effectively transfer your Honda Civic's power to the wheels, addressing the limitations of the stock mount as power output increases. The mount features a unique design with a single, proprietary polyurethane isolated mounting point. This system effectively reduces the engine's primary rotational and secondary up/down movements. The 'I-Beam' style construction, similar to high-performance connecting rods, ensures strength while minimizing weight, resulting in approximately a 1/2 lb savings over the OE mount. Available in two durometer options: a 70A street compound designed to significantly reduce torque steer while being more civil regarding NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) compared to the 90A race mount. The 90A race mount is for those prioritizing maximum performance and willing to accept higher levels of NVH. The steel sleeve within the polyurethane pucks is made from 416 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, and the bushings are custom-molded from a proprietary polyurethane blend for optimal performance in dynamic loading and harsh environments. Installation requires the removal of aftermarket front pipes and may be impacted by oil leaks, particularly from valve cover leaks, which can degrade the polyurethane bushings.
