Rear Engine Mount

The 27WON Performance Rear Engine Mount is engineered to improve your Honda Civic's power delivery by effectively holding the engine in place. The stock rear engine mount often loses effectiveness as engine power output increases, leading to issues like torque steer and wheel hop. The mount features an "I-Beam" style design, similar to high-performance connecting rods, to reduce weight while maintaining strength, saving approximately 0.5 lbs over the OE mount. It utilizes a single polyurethane isolated mounting point to manage engine motion. The polyurethane bushing on the engine side controls rotational movement, while a rigid chassis connection eliminates up/down motion, reducing associated vibrations and NVH. This rear motor mount is available in two durometer options: a 70A street compound and a 90A race compound. The 70A street mount offers a significant reduction in torque steer with more manageable NVH, while the 90A race mount prioritizes outright performance and accepts higher levels of NVH. The steel sleeve within the polyurethane pucks is made from 416 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, and the bushings are custom molded from a proprietary polyurethane blend. The body is available in 6061-T6 billet aluminum or a more budget-friendly die-cast aluminum option. Installation requires the removal of aftermarket front pipes and may be challenging, with an estimated install time of 1 hour. It is recommended to check for oil leaks, particularly from the valve cover, as motor oil can degrade the polyurethane bushings. The product includes a Limited Lifetime Warranty and is designed and made in Vancouver, Washington. ***NOTE:*** NVH (Noise, Vibration, & Harshness) will increase over the OEM mount. The 27WON mount is compatible with all 2016-2021 Honda Civic trims (2.0 NA and 1.5T models), including Sport and SI models, and 2017-2021 Civic Type R.
