Description

The Dobinsons GS51-121 is a pair of rear twin-tube gas shock absorbers designed to provide a significant performance upgrade over standard equipment. Engineered, developed, and tested in Australia, these shocks are built to endure demanding conditions, from extreme heat to subzero temperatures. Key features include a twin-tube big-bore design that enhances durability and performance by utilizing a larger body and bore size, reducing shock fade and improving vehicle handling and control. The shocks also feature Teflon piston rings to reduce internal friction, a double chromed 18mm rod for increased strength and wear resistance, and natural rubber bushings for improved ride comfort and noise reduction. A steel dust cover is included to protect the rod from debris and extend the lifespan of the shock absorber. The GS51-121 is specifically designed to complement Dobinsons Complete Suspension Systems, offering matched components for optimal performance. Specifications include an extended length of 540mm and a compressed length of 370mm. They are nitrogen gas charged with low-pressure gas to reduce oil aeration and shock fade.
