Description

The Dobinsons IMS63-50011 rear shocks are an internal reservoir monotube design, sold as a pair, intended for the Volkswagen Amarok. The construction features Teflon piston rings, double chrome hardened rods, and a protective metal shock boot. The low-pressure nitrogen gas charge helps prevent oil aeration and shock fade, while the larger bodies and bores contribute to improved vehicle handling and control. They have been designed, developed, and tested in Australia for performance in harsh conditions, suitable for extreme temperatures. Fitment is specified for Volkswagen Amarok TDI400 and TDI420 models from 2010 to 2020. Some sources also indicate fitment for 2010-2019 and 2011-2019 models, suggesting a broad compatibility range within those years.
