The Ford Ranger rear leaf spring shackle kit is an OEM replacement part designed for Ranger applications from 1983 to 2010. The BT4271aMBWK is an OEM replacement rear leaf spring shackle kit specifically designed for Ford Ranger applications. This kit is engineered to fit vehicles equipped with 2-1/2 inch wide rear leaf springs and provides a direct-fit installation solution. It includes a single shackle that comes with a pre-installed bushing, along with Grade 8 hardware for secure mounting. This shackle kit is compatible with a wide range of Ford Ranger models, covering the years from 1983 through 2010, for both 2WD and 4WD pickup trucks. The kit replaces one side of the rear leaf spring shackle. Key measurements include a 4-1/2" center-to-center distance between the top and bottom holes and an inside measurement of 3-1/16" where the spring eye sits. The hardware included in this kit consists of two 9/16" x 4-1/2" Grade 8 leaf spring eye bolts, complete with lock nuts and washers, ensuring a robust connection. The shackle itself is identical for both the left and right sides of the vehicle. The kit is designed for applications that utilize 9/16" x 4-1/2" Grade 8 leaf spring eye bolts.
