The Dobinsons HIL-035-R is a pair of heavy-duty rear leaf springs engineered for superior ride quality, durability, and enhanced load-handling performance on a variety of vehicle types. These leaf springs are built from premium materials and crafted to exacting standards, providing both on-road comfort and off-road resilience. The springs are constructed from SUP9 silicon manganese spring steel, chosen for its long-lasting durability. Manufacturing adheres to ISO9001:2008 standards, incorporating tapered, thinned leaf ends for balanced stress distribution. To further enhance longevity and prevent sagging, the springs undergo shot-peening and are 'scragged' (pre-loaded) to their maximum capacity. Military-wrapped eyes offer increased strength and safety in the event of a main leaf failure. For smoother, quieter operation, the HIL-035-R features anti-friction inter-leaf liners. High-strength alignment clips, equipped with nylon insulators and Nyloc nuts, minimize wear and noise. The product is designed for heavy loads and provides a 50mm (approximately 2-inch) lift.
