Description

The Dobinsons L59-174-R rear leaf springs are engineered to enhance the suspension performance and ride height of your Toyota Hilux Revo (N80) models, specifically for the 2015 to July 2025 production years. Offering a 45mm lift, these springs are designed to support up to 100kg of constant load, making them suitable for vehicles carrying additional equipment or gear. Key design features include military wrap where possible for added safety in case of main leaf breakage, and drawn, tapered, and diamond-cut leaves. These advanced leaf end designs assist in load distribution and minimize inter-leaf friction, which is crucial for longevity and consistent performance. All leaf lengths are carefully calculated to achieve a high-performance spring rate, preventing stress concentration that could lead to premature sagging or breakage. Dobinsons also utilizes a scrag testing process for most of their springs. This involves subjecting the springs to 90% of the material's yield stress to eliminate sag and ensure they maintain their intended height over time. Furthermore, inter-leaf anti-friction liners are incorporated to reduce friction at the leaf tips, where the greatest load is applied. Stringent quality control procedures, particularly during the heat treatment and tempering phases, ensure that every Dobinson spring is manufactured to the same exceptional standards. Please note: These leaf springs may not be suitable for the 2022 onwards Toyota Hilux Rogue or SR5 Cruiser Wide track models.
