Description

The BDS Suspension 1/2-inch Lift Rear Shackle Kit is engineered to enhance the ride height and stance of your 1976-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, or Scrambler. Constructed from heavy-duty American steel, these shackles are formed to fit the frame rails securely. A center support sleeve is incorporated for added strength and rigidity. The kit provides a 1/2-inch increase in rear ride height, contributing to a more aggressive stance and allowing for additional suspension travel. It is also compatible with most existing lift kits, making it a versatile upgrade. Fitment is confirmed for 1976-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, and Scrambler models. Specific fitment details include compatibility with 4.2L I6 engines for the 1976-1986 generation and 2.5L I4 engines for the 1987-1995 generation. Additionally, it is compatible with the 4.0L I6 engine for the 1997-2006 TJ generation, including Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 2-door models.
