Description

The Toyota 90311-70007 is a genuine OEM engine rear oil seal, specifically designed to serve as a direct replacement for various Toyota vehicles. Also referred to as a rear main seal or crankshaft seal, this component is crucial for preventing oil leakage from the rear of the engine. Installation involves preparing the new seal by cleaning the housing bore and coating the outer edge with engine oil or grease. The seal lip should be treated with moly-base grease. Bolts for the crankshaft seal retainer should be tightened incrementally to the specified torque. This genuine Toyota part fits a range of models including the 1990-1998 Celica, 1982-1997 and 1976-1979 Corolla, 1985-1989 MR2, 1981-1984 Starlet, and 1980-1988 Tercel. It replaces several previous part numbers, including 90311-70001, 90311-70003, and 90311-70004.
