Rear Monotube Shock Absorbers

The Dobinsons IMS59-60711 are rear monotube shock absorbers specifically engineered for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra, providing a lift height range of 0" to 2.5". These shocks utilize a monotube design for superior performance and fade resistance compared to twin-tube shocks, making them ideal for harsh conditions like corrugated roads, extended off-road trips, towing, or racing. The construction features a robust 66mm/2.6" DOM seamless tubing body and a race-inspired, high-flow 60mm bore CNC 6061 billet alloy piston. This design reduces internal pressures and facilitates heat transfer to the body for faster cooling, leading to improved damping performance and vehicle control, especially at higher shaft speeds on rough terrain. The shock shaft is micropolished, hard chromed, and heat-treated for durability. These shocks are designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement for easy fitment. They are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, allowing for customization and extended service life. The large oil capacity and EDP surface protection contribute to their corrosion resistance and overall durability.
