Rear Motor Mount

As horsepower and torque increase on your late-model turbocharged Civic or Integra, the 27WON Rear Motor Mount (RMM) is engineered to help you get that power to the pavement. However, with power upgrades, the excessive engine movement allowed by the stock mount becomes undesirable, leading to wheel hop and reduced traction. This RMM utilizes a unique single polyurethane mounting point design. This strategically reduces the primary rotational movement of the engine while the fixed mounting spot connected to the sub-frame eliminates the secondary up/down motion, thereby reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The body of the mount is constructed from aluminum, available in die-cast aluminum for the Street version or 6061-T6 billet aluminum for the Race version. The Street mount features a 70a durometer polyurethane bushing, with a Gen 2 version incorporating an NVH-reducing washer. The Race mount offers a 90a durometer polyurethane for maximum traction and performance, ideal for track use where comfort is less of a concern. This mount features an I-beam construction for increased strength without adding unnecessary weight, shaving 8 ounces compared to the OEM unit. The metal collar is made from stainless steel for high corrosion resistance. The 27WON RMM is compatible with 2022+ Honda Civic Sedan/Hatchback 1.5T and NA 2.0L models, 2022+ Honda Civic Si, 2023+ Honda Civic Type R, and 2023+ Acura Integra A-Spec & Type S. For manual transmission models (Civic Si, Type R, Integra A-Spec), you can choose between the 70a Street or 90a Race polyurethane. CVT-equipped models (Civic EX, Integra) are recommended to use the 70a durometer option for a balance of performance and comfort; the 90a Race mount is not offered for CVT applications due to increased NVH. It is important to note that upgrading to a performance rear motor mount will inherently increase NVH. While 27WON has worked to minimize this with their Gen 2 70a Street Mount, some level of increased vibration and noise may be noticeable, especially during the initial break-in period of up to 500 miles. Motor oil leaks can also degrade the polyurethane bushings, potentially impacting the durability and longevity of the mount.
