Rear Motor Mount

The 27WON Rear Motor Mount (RMM) is engineered to combat wheel hop and improve traction in high-performance 11th Gen Honda Civics and 5th Gen Acura Integras. As engine power increases, excessive movement in the stock rear motor mount becomes a limiting factor for getting power to the pavement. This upgraded RMM provides a solution by significantly reducing unwanted engine rotation and vertical motion, leading to a more stable and responsive drivetrain. Constructed with an I-beam design for enhanced strength and reduced weight (shaving 8 ounces compared to OEM), this mount utilizes a stainless steel sleeve for corrosion resistance and an aluminum body for durability. The Gen 2 Cast 70a Street Mounts feature improved NVH reduction through a specialized washer, offering a balance between performance gains and cabin comfort. For those prioritizing ultimate traction with minimal wheel hop, the 90a Race polyurethane option is available for manual transmission vehicles. CVT models are exclusively offered with the 70a durometer for optimal NVH control. Installation is straightforward, typically taking around 30-45 minutes. The RMM is designed to work with 2022+ Honda Civic Sedan/Hatchback (1.5T and 2.0L NA), 2022+ Civic Si, 2023+ Civic Type R, and 2023+ Acura Integra (A-Spec & Type S) models. It is crucial to note that an increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) is inherent with performance engine mounts. While 27WON has made efforts to minimize this with the Gen 2 version, users sensitive to NVH should consider this an integral part of the upgrade. A break-in period of up to 500 miles is recommended for the mount to fully settle and for NVH levels to decrease.
