The Damond Motorsports Mazdaspeed3 Rear Motor Mount is engineered for enthusiasts seeking to improve power delivery and reduce unwanted engine movement. This revised mount is lighter, more compact, and easier to install than previous versions, offering a significant reduction in wheel hop and engine movement. By improving the connection between the engine and the chassis, it also enhances shifting precision and clutch pedal feel. The mount is constructed from U.S.A.-made machined aluminum, available in gold or black anodized finishes. It utilizes high-grade fasteners and lock nuts, along with OTS Energy polyurethane bushings. Customers can choose between Street (80a) and Race (95a) stiffness options. The Street bushings are ideal for minimizing added Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), while the Race bushings offer the highest performance and least engine movement. A note on installation indicates that one bushing has a relief shaved off to allow fitment on multiple vehicles, which does not affect performance.
