The BMR SP082R Performance Rear Lowering Springs are engineered to enhance the stance and performance of your S550/S650 Mustang. These springs are crafted from high-tensile chrome silicon wire and are cold-wound using CNC machinery for precise diameter control and consistent spring rates. Each spring undergoes a double compression process to set its permanent form, ensuring it won't sag over time. Furthermore, BMR subjects them to a 750-degree F stress-relief process and shot-peening to eliminate residual surface stresses, followed by rigorous computer testing for every spring, not just samples. Designed for the street performance enthusiast, the SP082R springs offer a linear spring rate that provides excellent support during cornering, keeping the body flat and level, while maintaining a comfortable ride on various road surfaces. The rear of the vehicle will be lowered by approximately 0.50 inches, reducing wheel gap and lowering the center of gravity for improved handling dynamics. These BMR lowering springs are finished with a durable red powder coat for long-lasting good looks.
