This rear shock absorber from BMW Genuine Parts, manufactured by Sachs, is an OEM direct replacement intended to restore the original ride comfort and handling for your vehicle. Sachs is a trusted original equipment supplier to BMW for shocks, struts, and mounts, ensuring this part meets all of BMW's stringent design, fitment, and performance specifications. As an OEM part, it offers a virtually identical experience to the original BMW component without the inflated price tag and is TUV approved. This shock absorber is specifically designed for the 2001-2002 BMW Z3 models with 2.5L and 3.0L engines. It is crucial to note the special application notes: this shock is for Roadster models only and is not compatible with Coupe models. Additionally, it is not recommended for installation if your vehicle has shorter springs. This shock absorber is sold individually, but it is recommended to replace them in pairs, so ordering two is advised. New mounts, dust boots, and bump stops are sold separately and should be considered for a complete installation. This part replaces the original BMW part number 33526753259 and comes with a two-year warranty.
