Description

The BDS Suspension BDS85880 is a rear shock absorber engineered for performance and durability. This twin-tube shock features a 2-inch diameter body, a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist damage from rock chips. It is gas-charged for consistent performance. The BDS85880 shock has an extended length of 25.22 inches and a collapsed length of 15.22 inches, offering 10 inches of travel. It utilizes EB1 upper and lower mounting codes. The shock is designed to work with a 2.5-inch lift kit and is specifically intended for 2019-2021 Ford Ranger 4WD models. BDS custom-tailors shock absorber valving to account for factors like the increased weight of larger wheels and tires.
