Rear Shock Absorber with Remote Reservoir

The Dobinsons MRR MRA43-A784 is a 3-way adjustable monotube reservoir shock absorber engineered for maximum adjustability and superior ride quality in demanding off-road conditions. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons' in-house suspension engineers, these shocks are built to withstand harsh environments worldwide. This shock absorber features a robust construction, including a 56mm O.D. heavy-duty DOM seamless shock body with 3mm thick walls, precision honed to +/- 0.04mm. The internal components include a 50mm CNC machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston, a lightweight CNC machined low-friction floating piston, and an upgraded 3-stage FKM/HNBR sealing system. The 18mm micro-polished 5140 HV900 hard chrome-plated, heat-treated shock shaft offers exceptional strength and durability. Adjustability is a key feature, with 10 stages of high-speed compression damping for aggressive off-roading, 20 stages of low-speed compression for crawling and cornering, and 15 stages of rebound adjustment to control coil bucking. The external 60mm full 6063 aluminum remote reservoir helps dissipate heat and maintain consistent damping performance, significantly increasing performance over standard shock absorbers and reducing shock fade. The shock also includes a T6 6061 height-adjustable spring seat and a carbon-fibre/PTFE/disulphide composite wear band for low-friction, low-wear performance. The MRA43-A784 is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for compatible vehicles, simplifying installation. The design is fully rebuildable, allowing for extended service life and customization. The shock is finished with EDP surface protection for enhanced corrosion resistance. Fitment is specified for Mitsubishi Pajero V7 models, including NM, NP, NS, NT, NW generations from 2000 onwards.
