The Dobinsons GS59-225A rear shock absorbers are engineered for superior performance and longevity, designed to complement Dobinsons Complete Suspension Systems. These shocks utilize a twin-tube design and are filled with low-pressure nitrogen gas, which effectively reduces oil aeration and minimizes shock fade during demanding use. The construction prioritizes durability with thicker walls and a longer travel capability compared to standard shocks. Quality is paramount in the design and manufacturing of these shocks. They feature premium components sourced globally, including Japanese NOK Multi-Lip seals for reliable sealing, Fuchs German shock absorber oil for optimal damping performance, and natural rubber bushings that offer excellent noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) reduction while maintaining flexibility. The internal components are further enhanced with Teflon piston rings and double chrome-hardened rods, while a metal shock boot protects the rod from damage. These rear shocks are sold as a pair and can be used with original coils or aftermarket setups. Dobinsons shocks and springs are designed, developed, and tested in Australia by their in-house engineers to perform in harsh conditions worldwide. They are built to withstand extreme temperatures, from the Australian outback to Russian winters, ensuring reliability in diverse environments.
