Rear Shock Mounts

These RSMs are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and utilize Shore A 65 durometer rubber bushings, offering a firmer ride than stock while maintaining a degree of street comfort. The bushings are also replaceable, allowing for service without replacing the entire mount. The design features a Quick-Change under-mount system, simplifying damper removal by only requiring access to two nuts and a single bolt at the bottom of the shock. This eliminates the need to disassemble the trunk area. Additionally, the RSMs incorporate a reinforcement assembly to protect the sheet metal from the rear shock pulling out. These mounts are designed to work with standard 10mm shaft diameter rear shocks. Optional washers are available for use with 12mm shaft diameter adjustable race shocks. Hardware, including specialized welded-on 10.9 hardware, compression washers, and spacers made of 303 stainless steel, is included for corrosion resistance and durability. Special Application Notes: These RSMs are not for 3-series Convertible models. Fitment applies to all E30 (excluding convertibles), all E36 (excluding convertibles), all E46 (excluding convertibles), all Z3, and all Z4 models.
