Overview

The Verkline WAS-561 is a lightweight tubular rear subframe designed for drag applications.

This subframe increases chassis rigidity for improved handling performance and eliminates subframe shifting. It is constructed from T45 tubing and S355 metal sheets, with all components TIG welded and powder-coated black. The design allows for adjustment of camber, toe, and bump steer, and includes an additional track setup mounting for the upper control arm. It weighs 12 kg, offering a significant weight saving over OEM steel subframes.

The Verkline WAS-561 is a lightweight tubular rear subframe engineered for drag racing applications, offering a maximum lightweight solution. Constructed from T45 tubing, imported from the UK, and S355 metal sheets, all components are TIG welded and finished with a durable black powder coating. Key benefits include a substantial weight reduction of approximately 6 kg compared to OEM steel subframes, contributing to improved performance. The design also offers adjustability for camber, toe, and bump steer, along with an additional track setup mounting for the upper control arm to optimize camber gain and roll center position. This feature requires an adjustable control arm for full camber adjustment. The subframe mounts directly to the OEM car body with no other modifications needed for installation and includes mounts for OEM rear xenon lights sensors. This product is intended for off-road, track, and racing applications only. Mounting this subframe may introduce some increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), though tests on a stock VW Golf 7R showed minimal NVH increase only at idle. Professional installation by a qualified and experienced workshop is strongly advised. The product includes the rear subframe, adjustable wishbone position shims, and printed installation instructions.
