The 034 Motorsport Billet Aluminum Rear Subframe Mount Inserts are engineered to enhance the driving dynamics of specific Audi and Volkswagen vehicles equipped with Haldex AWD. These vehicles often suffer from vague and loose rear ends due to the deflection of factory rubber subframe bushings under load, leading to less-than-optimal suspension geometry and increased understeer. By limiting subframe movement, it aims to maintain proper suspension geometry during cornering and improve the responsiveness of the rear suspension and differential. The billet aluminum construction ensures durability and prevents packing and wear over time, offering a lasting performance upgrade. The kit is clear anodized for enhanced longevity and is manufactured using CAD software, then thoroughly tested and refined. The installation of these inserts is straightforward and can be completed in under an hour, with the process being completely reversible. The factory rear subframe bolts can typically be reused, with torque specifications provided in the installation guide. For those preferring new hardware, stretch bolts with part number N10505301 are available. Fitment is specific to certain Audi and Volkswagen models: 2006-2014 Audi A3/S3 Quattro (8P), 2006-2013 Audi TT/TTS/TTRS Quattro (8J) with a build date before 05/28/2012 (does not fit 2.0 TDI models), 2008 Volkswagen R32 (MkV), and 2012 Volkswagen Golf R (MkVI). It is important to note that this kit will not fit early 8J TT/TTS/TTRS models (~2010) that feature a different type of rear subframe bushing.
