The EMPI 17-2669 Classic VW Heavy Duty Adjustable Rear Suspension Swing Axle Spring Plates are engineered to enhance the suspension of compatible Volkswagen models. Designed specifically for use with 21-3/4 inch long torsion bars, these spring plates feature a 1-1/4 inch collar and are adjustable to allow for ride height modification. This set is suitable for stock applications including the Volkswagen Type 1 Bug/Beetle and Karmann Ghia from 1960 through 1968, provided they have a swing axle configuration. It is also compatible with modified applications such as Type 1 Baja Bugs, Dune Buggies, and Sandrails that utilize 21-3/4 inch torsion bars and a swing axle. It is important to note that individual applications may vary due to previous modifications or component exchanges. It is crucial to be aware of specific fitment exclusions. These spring plates are not compatible with Type 2 VW Bus differentials. The product is sold as a pair.
