Description

The Ultra Racing UR-AR22-511 rear sway bar is engineered to combat chassis flex and deformation that occurs during dynamic driving maneuvers such as aggressive cornering, hard braking, and acceleration. When a vehicle experiences significant weight transfer, one side can bear up to three times more force than the other, leading to chassis twist and a loss of tire grip. This flex can manifest as detrimental handling characteristics, including understeer and oversteer. The hollow steel tubes and oval tubes range from 1.2mm to 1.6mm in thickness. The UR-AR22-511 features a 22mm diameter, providing effective resistance to body roll. This rear sway bar is designed for direct fitment on the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86/GR86, requiring no modifications for installation. By reducing flex in the suspension mounting points, it helps maintain precise geometry and stability, leading to improved chassis stiffness, enhanced steering feedback, and better road handling.
