The H&R sway bars (part number 33849-3) are engineered to enhance the handling dynamics of compatible Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including the A-Class (W176), B-Class (W246/W242), CLA Coupe (C117), CLA Shooting Brake (X117), and GLA (X156). These bars are crafted from high-strength, special spring steel and feature precision-forged ends, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. The powder coating provides robust protection against corrosion, while the composite rubber bearings contribute to a smooth operation. With a front diameter of 30mm and a rear diameter of 26mm, these sway bars significantly reduce body roll along the vehicle's longitudinal axis. This reduction in roll, particularly noticeable during fast cornering or abrupt changes in direction, leads to increased agility and improved cornering control. A key benefit of these H&R sway bars is the front axle's 2-way adjustability, allowing drivers to fine-tune the suspension's self-steering behavior (oversteer/understeer) to their personal preferences. This enables a customized suspension setup for optimal performance. The scope of delivery includes both front and rear axles. For installation, it is recommended to use OE mounting parts if not already included and to ensure they are in like-new condition, replacing them if necessary. While the rear stabilizer is optional, omitting it may cause the vehicle to tend towards understeer.
