E36 cars equipped with sway bar upgrades are prone to developing cracks at the sway bar bushing mounting points on the subframe. This issue is exacerbated on vehicles used for tracking or drifting. The factory subframe tab lacks reinforcement, leading to flexing and twisting that can eventually weaken welds and cause the tab to snap off. The Turner Motorsport E36 Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement Kit is engineered to be welded into place, preventing this critical mount from twisting. By reinforcing the sway bar mount, this kit significantly mitigates the risk of subframe damage. This proactive measure can prevent a common and troublesome repair down the road, ensuring the longevity and structural integrity of your BMW's rear suspension mounting points. The kit is constructed from durable aluminum with a raw finish and has a reported weight of 15 lbs.
