The EPS Tuning OGK-HR/VHR Rear Timing Cover Gallery Gasket Kit is engineered to resolve common oil pressure and VCT system issues in VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines. Low oil pressure at idle or low RPM, persistent VCT noise, and codes like P0011 or P0021 often stem from problems with the oil gallery plates, which are frequently overlooked during maintenance or rebuilds. This kit includes steel-reinforced upper and lower gaskets, along with upper plate o-rings. The factory fasteners can loosen over time, leading to oil seepage, particularly at the plate's extremities. This can compromise oil pressure in a freshly rebuilt engine, even if the gaskets appear visually sound. We highly recommend inspecting these galleries and replacing the gaskets and fasteners whenever the timing cover is removed.
