The CarBahn adjustable rear toe link kit is engineered to address the inherent flex in the stock rear toe link found on BMW M5 and M8 vehicles. Stock components, featuring rubber bushings and a curved forged alloy rod, are prone to flexing during hard acceleration. This flex can lead to undesirable toe changes in the rear wheels, resulting in instability, particularly when pushing the vehicle's limits. This kit directly combats this issue by replacing the stock components with a robust billet aluminum straight rod and precision Teflon coated machined steel rod ends. This construction significantly reduces flex, promoting more stable rear-wheel behavior under load. Furthermore, the CarBahn rod ends are designed with sealed protection against water and debris, unlike many competitor products that use loose rubber boots. This sealing ensures a longer, quieter, and maintenance-free service life for the rod ends, preventing premature wear and noise issues.
