Its double bellow construction significantly increases the travel of the air spring, though it comes at the cost of some angle capacity and hi-load applications. This air spring features a collapsed height of 3.25 inches and extends to 11 inches, with a maximum diameter of 5.875 inches when compressed. It offers an optimum ride height range of 4.75 to 7.50 inches and can support a load capacity of up to 2500 lbs. Force at 115 PSI. Constructed from heavy-duty, thick rubber, it is built for durability and resistance to oil and breakdown. The top and bottom caps are machined from 6061 aluminum, and it features an industry-standard bolt pattern. Installation is recommended directly to the axle in a rear suspension application, or in front of the axle on a rear trailing arm setup, such as those found on C-10 or Impala models. It is explicitly stated that this bag is NOT designed for front control arm suspension; the Air House 2 is the recommended bag for front suspension applications. Available port sizes include 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" NPT, with some sizes being special order. The air spring has been tested to a burst pressure of 525 PSI.
