The Verkline WAS-101 Rear Tubular Subframe is a performance-oriented upgrade for select Audi models, developed through extensive CAD design, FEA testing, and road testing. Constructed from T45 tubing, known for its high strength and use in WRC cars, and S355 metal sheets, this subframe provides increased stiffness and reduces weight compared to OEM components. It features solid mounts to the car body for enhanced rigidity and mass reduction. This subframe offers an adjustable wishbone height, allowing for a -20 mm or +20 mm adjustment over OEM specifications. It also includes additional mounting points for the rear anti-roll bar and reinforcement for track rods. The WAS-101 is designed to be compatible with OEM or aftermarket wishbones, and utilizes OEM mounts for the car body and rear differential. Key features include a weight of 9.5 kg, a 3 kg saving over OEM subframes, and a durable black powder-coated finish. Special order colors are also available. The package includes the rear subframe, rear anti-roll bar aluminum mounting inserts with bolts, bolts for attaching the subframe to the car body, and bolts for the wishbones. The Verkline WAS-101 Rear Tubular Subframe is compatible with the Audi B2 Coupe Quattro, Audi UrQuattro, Audi B3 Sedan/Coupe Quattro, Audi B4 80/90 Coupe Quattro, and Audi S2 Coupe. T45 tubing, conforming to aerospace specifications, offers superior tensile strength and yield compared to other motorsport tubing.
