Overview

The Elephant Racing rear upper shock mounts are direct replacements for stock mounts, designed for Porsche 986 and 987 Boxster and Cayman models. They feature Teflon lined spherical bearings that are maintenance-free and include seals to prevent contamination. These mounts work with both coilover and factory or lowering spring setups, offering improved shock/coilover performance by eliminating deflection inherent in factory rubber bushings.

The Elephant Racing Rear Upper Shock Mounts are high-performance direct replacements for the stock bushings in Porsche 986 and 987 Boxster and Cayman vehicles. These mounts utilize maintenance-free, Teflon-lined spherical bearings that require no supplemental lubrication. Integrated seals protect the bearings from dirt and water contamination, significantly extending their lifespan. The spherical bearings pivot freely, allowing the damper to effectively control the tire contact patch and preventing the loss of camber under cornering loads. This results in more stable and predictable handling. The fully weather-sealed design, with seals on the top and bottom, ensures durability for both street and extended track use, as dirt and water are kept out to prevent accelerated wear.
