It features a high-definition Sony CCD HD camera with a 170-degree wide-angle view and 0.1 LUX low-light performance, ensuring a clear image even in dim conditions. The system includes a factory connect harness that plugs directly into the vehicle's existing 8.4-inch OEM screen.

This kit offers a simple integration, maintaining your factory setup while adding crucial rear-view visibility. The camera is mounted above the license plate area, and when the vehicle is put into reverse, the high-resolution image automatically appears on the factory display. The system provides optional parking guide lines and mirror image options, which can be turned on or off.

Installation requires dealer activation or the use of an OBDII activator to enable the backup camera function. The package includes the camera, factory connect harness, video cable, power/ground harness, and all necessary mounting hardware and instructions.

The BackupCameraR FC-CJ300/GCH-Challenger is a comprehensive, high-definition rear-view camera and factory connect harness system specifically designed for the Dodge Challenger equipped with an 8.4-inch OEM screen. This system seamlessly integrates an OEM-style backup camera, typically mounted above the license plate area, with your vehicle's existing display. Upon shifting into reverse, the high-resolution image from the backup camera will automatically appear on the factory screen, enhancing navigation safety. This kit provides a straightforward OEM integration, upgrading your vehicle's functionality without compromising its existing setup. The system boasts a Sony CCD HD camera with impressive specifications, including a 170-degree wide-angle view and a 155-degree off-axis view cone, ensuring a broad perspective. It offers vivid color and high resolution with 600 TV lines and 728 x 582 pixels for crisp imagery. Low-light performance is excellent with a 0.1 LUX rating, and the camera is built to withstand various conditions, featuring IP68 and IP69K waterproof certification, shockproof construction, and UV-protected, waterproof cabling. Operational temperature range is from 32° to 160°F. Optional features include parking guide lines and mirror image reversal, both controllable via ON/OFF settings. Compatibility is specific to Dodge Challenger models from 2011-2020 that are equipped with an 8.4-inch OEM screen. For earlier models (2008-2010), compatibility with MyGig OEM screens is noted. The system requires dealer activation either before or after installation, or an optional OBDII Activator can be used to bypass this step. The package includes the factory DODGE Connect Harness, the OEM-style universal mount backup camera, a 30-foot video cable, camera power/ground harness, an RCA adapter, a camera sealer pad, and installation instructions.
