These units are rebuilt using high-performance Teflon seals and Viton O-rings, with the outer housing pressed under high torque to compress the new seals internally. The kit includes O-rings for the secondary air pipe, chain tensioners, and engine cover bolts.

The Dr. VANOS M62TU-VANOS is a professionally refurbished Vanos unit specifically engineered for M62 V8 engines. This unit features high-performance, specially designed Teflon seals and Viton O-rings, ensuring durability and optimal function. The outer housing is expertly pressed with specialized tools under high torque to ensure the internal seals are properly compressed. Included in each kit are essential O-rings for critical engine components: two O-rings for the secondary air pipe, two for the chain tensioners, and four for the engine cover bolts. Installation instructions are available via a provided link. A notable point for M62tu Vanos units is that they may not ohm out according to standard BMW instructions due to the rebuilding process; this is normal and does not impact the Vanos system's functionality. The price for both Vanos gears is $500, which includes a $300 refundable core deposit. Customers can return their old Vanos gears using the provided prepaid shipping label to receive their core refund.
