The Integrated Engineering IEBACN1 is a billet recirculating catch can kit engineered to enhance the PCV system on EA888 GEN 3 TSI engines. It addresses the issue of crankcase oil fumes by effectively catching oil mist before it can enter the turbo inlet. The kit replaces the factory plastic breather plate with a billet adapter featuring a complex baffle system, which functions to keep oil out of the lines while allowing the crankcase to breathe through the catch can. The catch can itself is designed with a state-of-the-art baffle system and is easily serviceable, featuring a T-handle drain valve for simple fluid removal. The kit is finished with a bright black anodize for a stealthy yet attractive engine bay appearance. Included in the kit are all necessary components for a straightforward installation, averaging under an hour: a billet recirculating catch can, valve cover breather adapter, perfect-fit braided Nylon hoses, all adapter fittings, and mounting hardware. The design allows for the use of the factory engine cover and is completely reversible. Important fitment considerations apply. This kit requires factory-style engine mounts, as it utilizes a secure mount on the OE engine mount bracket. Aftermarket motor mounts that delete this location may require custom mounting solutions. In areas with sub-freezing temperatures, condensation can freeze, potentially causing crankcase pressure buildup.
