Overview

The Forge Motorsport FMDVRMR is a recirculation valve designed as a direct replacement for the OEM compressor bypass valve (CBV) that bolts directly to the turbo. It features a piston design that replaces the diaphragm type valve, allowing for tuning with interchangeable springs. This is recommended for vehicles running higher boost pressures after software tuning to prevent boost loss.

It replaces the OEM diaphragm type valve with a more robust piston design that enables precise tuning through interchangeable springs. This upgrade is particularly beneficial for vehicles running higher boost pressures after software modifications, ensuring no boost is lost. All internal and external parts are made in the UK. This recirculation valve comes assembled with a green spring and includes an uprated yellow spring. For specific applications like the Renault Megane RS250, 265, or 275, the yellow spring should be fitted instead of the stock green one. Further tuning options are available with a separate spring tuning kit. The product is compatible with a wide range of Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Renault, Saab, and Volvo models, including specific variants like the Chrysler PT Cruiser GT, Dodge Neon SRT-4, Honda Civic Type Si1.5T, Hyundai i30 1.6 T-GDI, Kia Ceed GT Turbo, Renault Megane RS (250/265/275), Saab 9-3 Aero 2.0 Turbo, and Volvo 850 T5. It is important to note that this is a recirculation valve and not a blow-off valve, meaning it will recirculate dumped air back into the intake and will not produce noise. It does not require ECU modifications for installation and is compatible with diesel engines.
