Recoil Traction Bar Kit

The BDS Suspension Recoil Traction Bar Kit (BDS2300) is engineered to enhance traction for your vehicle while maintaining full wheel travel. Constructed from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing, this kit utilizes internal compression springs that allow for adjustable axle wrap control. The unique dual-stage resistance springs can be preloaded on the vehicle, eliminating the need for disassembly. The axle mount features BDS's durable forged flex end with a 1-1/4-inch x 12 threaded shank, capable of 15 degrees of misalignment. The frame end incorporates a polyurethane bushing and free-floating mechanism with UHMW polyurethane bearings and dual-stage internal compression springs. Installation is rated as moderately easy and is estimated to take 3-4 hours. The traction bar ends are greaseable and rebuildable for longevity. This kit is specifically designed for 2020-2026 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD models. It is confirmed to fit 2WD/4WD Crew Cab Short Bed (6.5ft) configurations. It will NOT fit standard cab, extended cab, or models with 8ft beds. Some sources also note fitment for 2020-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4WD, 2020-2023/2025, and 2024-2026 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD (Crew Cab/Short Bed).
