Description

The BDS Suspension Recoil Traction Bar Kit is engineered to improve traction and control axle wrap on your 2019-2024 Dodge Ram 3500 4WD without limiting wheel travel. This kit features adjustable axle wrap control utilizing dual-stage resistance springs, and its full floating traction bar design prevents binding throughout the suspension's range of motion. The spring preload can be adjusted while the traction bar is installed on the vehicle, and the bar ends are greaseable and rebuildable for longevity. Constructed from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing, the mounting brackets are designed for a bolt-on installation, though minor drilling is required for the frame mount. The axle mount incorporates BDS's durable forged flex end, capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment, while the frame end utilizes a polyurethane bushing and floats freely using internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings. Installation is estimated to take 3-4 hours and is considered moderately easy.
