The BDS Suspension Recoil Traction Bar Mounting Kit provides an enhanced solution for managing axle wrap and improving traction on 2004-2020 Ford F-150 4WD models. This kit features heavy-wall steel tubing construction, measuring 2-inch OD with a 3/16-inch wall. The axle mount incorporates BDS's durable forged flex end with a large 1-1/4-inch x 12 threaded shank, capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment. The frame end utilizes a durometer-specific polyurethane bushing and a unique design that allows the traction bar to free-float with the help of dual-stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings. Key features include adjustable axle wrap control through dual-stage resistance springs, allowing for preload adjustments on the vehicle without disassembling the traction bar. The full floating design ensures bind-free operation throughout the suspension's range of motion, preventing hindrance to wheel travel or articulation. The traction bar ends are greaseable and rebuildable for longevity. This mounting kit is specifically designed for 2004-2020 Ford F-150 SuperCab and SuperCrew models equipped with a 3.625-inch axle. The fitment extends across a wide range of engine options, including various V6 and V8 configurations from 2.7L EcoBoost to 6.2L V8, and specific Raptor models.
