The Massive Audio Hippo 84 is an 8-inch, dual 4-ohm subwoofer designed for robust performance. It features a Kevlar fiber reinforced, non-pressed paper cone with a tall and narrow foam surround, and a heavy-duty triple tinsel lead. The subwoofer is built with a rugged industrial textured cast aluminum basket and a 145 oz high energy double stacked strontium magnet.

With a power handling of 500 watts RMS and 1000 watts peak, this subwoofer is engineered to deliver loud and deep bass. It is suitable for use in either a sealed or ported enclosure, with specific box sizes provided for both options to accommodate various space limitations.
