The Massive HippoXL84 is an 8-inch subwoofer designed for high output and musical installs. It features a 2.5-inch voice coil with an anodized aluminum former and Kevlar spunlace for durability, rated for 700 watts RMS. The subwoofer includes a vented back plate to manage heat and a Kevlar Fiber reinforced, non-pressed paper cone for tonal accuracy.
