The Pipercross PP1389 is a rectangular panel air filter engineered as a direct replacement for the standard paper filter element in factory airboxes. These filters are built to be long-lasting, allowing for a lifetime of use by cleaning and refitting the element when dirty rather than replacing it. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in minutes by opening the factory airbox, removing the old filter, and dropping the new unit into place. This component is compatible with various Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen models, including the Audi A3 Mk1, Audi TT Mk1, and Seat Leon Mk1. To maintain performance and prevent contamination of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, users should follow the recommended cleaning and oiling procedures, ensuring the filter is not over-oiled during servicing.
