During testing with a Red Alpha Tune, significant horsepower gains were observed, with power coming on earlier and improved twin-turbo spool-up. The design features long, gradual transitions to maintain exhaust gas velocity and reduce back pressure.

The AMS Performance Red Alpha 3" Full Downpipes are engineered for maximum performance and durability. The product features GESI catalytic converters rated for over 800 horsepower, offering superior durability compared to budget options. AMS is an engineering-focused company, utilizing 3D software like Solidworks to blueprint precise inlet and outlet designs for optimal flow. The downpipes are 3D printed to ensure OEM-level fitment, and include threaded O2 sensor bungs for factory sensor compatibility. Unlike some alternatives prone to cracking, these downpipes are built for longevity and improved sound. These downpipes deliver an unmistakable, throaty exhaust note under wide-open throttle while remaining subtle at idle and cruising speeds. They provide an estimated 20+ horsepower gain over lower downpipes, with significantly lower back pressures for increased power potential. The kit offers a complete bolt-on installation with all necessary hardware and gaskets included. They feature a smooth transition from the turbine outlet to the 3" tube and a 2.5" to 3.0" adapter for compatibility with stock or aftermarket cat-back systems.
