The AMS Performance VR30DDTT Race Full Downpipes are constructed from full 3-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel piping for optimal flow and durability.

They are compatible with 2017-2022 Infiniti Q60 models with the 3.0L VR30DDTT turbocharged engine, 2016-2024 Infiniti Q50 models with the 3.0L VR30DDTT turbocharged engine, and 2023+ Nissan Z models with the 3.0L VR30DDTT turbocharged engine. Installation on emissions-controlled vehicles within the United States requires a completed AMS Race Waiver form.

The AMS Performance Red Alpha 3" Full Downpipe Kit is engineered to be the best performing and most durable option for the Infiniti Q50 (2016-2022), Infiniti Q60 (2017-2021), and the 2023+ Nissan Z equipped with the VR30 engine. These full downpipes are fully mandrel bent and feature a 3-inch diameter, which is crucial for maintaining exhaust gas velocity and minimizing back pressure. This design allows for a more efficient flow of exhaust gases, which in turn leads to significant improvements in turbocharger spool-up. During testing, the Red Alpha Full Downpipes, when paired with the Red Alpha Tune, demonstrated notable performance gains. Engine Calibrators at AMS Performance observed an increase of 20 horsepower compared to using their lower downpipes. Furthermore, the improved exhaust flow resulted in power delivery that came on earlier in the RPM range. The long, gradual transitions within the mandrel-bent pipe sections are key to this enhanced performance, preventing the buildup of back pressure that can hinder output. This kit is specifically designed for the VR30 engine platform, offering a direct fit for compatible models. Installation may require professional expertise due to the nature of exhaust system modifications.
