Red Alpha One-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft

The AMS Performance Red Alpha Driveshaft is a high-performance upgrade designed to deliver the VR30 3.0L Twin Turbo power of your Infiniti Q60 or Q50 to the ground. This aluminum one-piece driveshaft is constructed from 3.5" x .125" wall 6061-T6 aluminum and is rated to 3464 ft-lbs of torque, capable of handling speeds over 9000 RPM. Its superior one-piece design eliminates the weaker center carrier bearing found in the stock two-piece system, providing a more direct and robust power transfer. The shaft is manufactured using a pulse-welding technique, which results in less heat and a stronger weld compared to traditional MIG welding. Key components include a purpose-built, high-speed CV joint from GKN, sourced from Germany. The spline that the CV mounts to is crafted from 300m material, offering an impressive torque capacity of 6800 ft-lbs without failure. The overall design and materials contribute to improved acceleration and a more efficient power delivery, as evidenced by its role in achieving a world-record quarter-mile run. The driveshaft comes with a 12-month warranty. It is specifically designed for the 2016-2021 Infiniti Q50 and Q60 models equipped with the VR30DDTT engine.
